Creating a Schedule
To create a schedule, navigate to the "Schedules" section, accessible from your homepage or the top navigation bar. Click on "Add Schedule" to begin creating a new schedule.
Selecting a Report and Schedule Type
The first step involves selecting the email, report, or dashboard you wish to schedule and choosing the schedule type. DataReportive offers the following schedule types:
Once
Send the report or dashboard a single time at a specific date and time.
Daily
Schedule the report or dashboard to be sent every day at a specified time.
Weekly
Send the report or dashboard on a specific day of the week at a specified time.
Monthly
Schedule the report or dashboard to be sent on a specific day of the month at a specified time.
Quarterly
Send the report or dashboard every quarter, specifically on the first day of January, April, July, and October.

Please note that reports and dashboards are generated after the scheduled delivery time and are sent out as soon as generated. This ensures that the data reflects the most recent results from the queries used in the report or dashboard.
Naming and Activating Your Schedule
When creating a schedule in DataReportive, you can assign a custom name to help you easily identify it later. This is especially useful if you manage multiple schedules for different reports or dashboards.
Additionally, you have the option to set the schedule as Active or Paused:
- Active: The schedule will run according to the specified timing and deliver the selected report, dashboard, or email as planned.
- Paused: The schedule will be saved but will not run or send any reports until you set it back to active. This is useful if you want to temporarily stop automated deliveries without deleting the schedule.
You can change the name or toggle the active/paused status of a schedule at any time from the Schedules section in your dashboard.
