Connecting your database to DataReportive

Before you can start building dashboards or creating reports with DataReportive, you'll first need to connect your database. DataReportive works by querying your database directly, ensuring that your reports and dashboards are always based on the most up-to-date information available.

In DataReportive, every database connection you set up is referred to as a Data Source. A Data Source acts as the bridge between your database and DataReportive, allowing the platform to securely retrieve and display your data.

To connect your database:

• Navigate to the Data Sources section within DataReportive.
• Click on Create Data Source.
• Follow the prompts to enter your database credentials and configuration details.
• Once your Data Source is set up, you'll be able to seamlessly explore your data, build insightful dashboards, and generate dynamic reports, all powered by live queries to your database.
