Access Control & Permissions

DataReportive allows you to control access to dashboards, reports, and emails by setting user and group-level permissions. By default, new dashboards, reports, and emails are accessible to all users. However, you can easily restrict visibility to ensure that only authorized users or groups can view sensitive content.

Note that Admins always have full access to all content regardless of any restrictions applied. Access control settings are designed to limit visibility for regular users only.

To restrict access to a report, navigate to the report settings and locate the Permissions section. From here, you can assign access to specific users or groups.

Dashboards can also be restricted in a similar way. Open the dashboard settings and use the Permissions panel to select which users or groups can view the dashboard.
